When working with Behavior Codes, you can create up to four levels of subcodes for each Behavior Code created.
Manage Secondary Incident Subcodes
Use this procedure to add a secondary incident subcode to a Behavior Code subcode.

Navigate to the All Incidents page.

Click Code & Subcode Setup.

From the Code Types list, select Behavior Codes.

From the Behavior Codes list, select the code you want to add a secondary subcode to.

Select the subcode you want to add a secondary subcode to.

Click the Plus ( + ) button for the selected subcode.

Enter the subcode name.

Enter the short description for this subcode.

Enter the full description for this subcode.

Enter the State Detail Report Code. This code can be specified by the state department of education, or it can be a district-defined code (for example, dress code violations with several subcodes defined for the type of violation). Enter the Display Order.

Enter the Severity of the behavior. For state-defined severity codes, see your PowerSchool state reporting setup guide.

Select State Reportable to mark this code type reportable to the state department of education.

Select Police Reportable to mark this code type reportable to the local police.

Select Allow Comment to include a comment field for the selected subcode providing the ability to enter additional information about the subcode. If selected, determine whether you want to Make this Comment Mandatory.

Enter any policy-related information that you want to communicate to users who will be working with this subcode.

Click Submit.
Once you have created a Secondary Subcode, you can edit or delete it. To edit a Secondary Subcode, click edit (the Pencil icon) and make the required changes. To delete a Secondary Subcode, click edit (the Pencil icon) and click Delete.
