If enabled by your district administrator, you can apply a grade scale to students that is different from the overall grade scale used for the class.
When you assign a custom grade scale to a student, a triangle indicator displays next to the student's name on the scoresheet. The score inspector indicates that the student has a custom grade scale assigned, and the triangle indicator will display in the summary area when a student grade scale is in use.

From the main navigation menu, choose Settings, then Student Grade Scales.

Click the arrow next to the class name to review which student grade scales are currently applied to the class.

Click Add.

On the Choose Students and Grade Scales dialog, choose a grade scale.

Use the Filter to narrow the student list.

Select individual students to whom you want to apply the selected grade scale. Alternatively, you can select all.

Click Save.
